Hello Pirates Families!

With Homecoming next week, we wanted to share information home so families can participate. Families are invited to attend our assemblies but MUST sign into the office. Come help us show PIRATE PRIDE!!!

  • Monday is Pirate Dress-Up Day with an afternoon assembly (3:08pm) at the end of the day for Kiss-the-Pig, so be sure to donate to the teacher you want to win by Monday.

  • Parents come watch a staff member kiss the pig (probably Mr. Perkins, Mr. Long or Mrs. Anne 😉)

  • Tuesday is Country vs. Country Club Day with a morning assembly (8:03am) for the Volleyball tournament. Make sure you sign your 6-player team up at lunch! FYI: The winning team will play the school staff team at the end.

  • Parents come watch the game!!!

  • Wednesday is “Anything But A Backpack Day” - bring your stuff for school in anything except a backpack - and there will be an afternoon assembly (3:08pm).

  • Thursday’s dress-up is College Day. We will be voting on Homecoming Court at lunch and will have the Homecoming Parade during the afternoon (2:00pm downtown). Floats will be worked on during seminar all week.

  • RED OUT the Jr. High and High School Volleyball home games! Games are free!

  • Friday is the Homecoming Football game with the bonfire afterward. Make sure you invite all Glendale alumni that you know to “come home” to the game! We will also have a short parade of our Homecoming Court at half-time.

  • RED OUT the Varsity football game

  • The Hawaiian Homecoming Dance will be Saturday, October 1st, from 7:00 to 10:30pm in the high school multipurpose room. Tickets are $4 for single and $7 for a couple's ticket, or $5 per person at the door.

  • Deputy has been requested for student safety for the evening

Students may be disqualified from homecoming activities for classroom behaviors.
