My name is Lindsey Wilbur and I recently moved to Glendale from south Mississippi. My background is in cultural and biological Anthropology with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion. I have several years of working in education, but this will be my first-year teaching full-time in the classroom. I have two children, who will be in 7th and 3rd grade this year. In my free time I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family outdoors, reading and gardening. I am looking forward to the school year and getting to know the students and their families.

Kristi France
Hello!
My name is Kristi France and I joined Glendale School District as the 4th grade teacher at Glendale Elementary in 2020. Previously, I worked in Human Resources for 12 years and became a dedicated volunteer in my child’s schools. I grew up in this community, attending and graduating from Glendale schools and I am so proud to be back here, teaching. I am a proud mom to three boys and we enjoy being involved in sports, 4-H, and various other community activities. I am looking forward to another great school year!

Grace
Hi,
My name is Grace Mathiesen and I have taught 5th grade at Glendale Elementary since 2016. Having lived most of my life in Los Angeles County, it was a privilege moving to this wonderful community in the mountains. I am grateful every morning to wake up and look out the windows at he tree covered mountains that surround us, such amazing beauty. I very much enjoy the students that I have been entrusted to teach. It is wonderful watching how 5th grade students mature and change as the school year progresses. I love learning and try to instill the same love of learning in my students.

Elise Halstead
Hello,
I'm Elise Halstead also known as Mrs. Halstead, Mrs. H, or Ms. Elise. I’ve worked in the Glendale school district since May 2017. I started as an IA, helping in many different classrooms (Pre-K-12.) This will be my third year as a teacher. I am very grateful I get to help your children learn and grow! I have been working with children my whole life. I come from a big family and started teaching dance at 16. I am a wife of 7 years. My husband Daniel is a wonderful man. We fell in love doing theatre together. I am a part of a theatre troupe outside of school. Which has given me opportunities to travel around the world. I have grown and learned so much from my experiences as a performer. I am a student at WGU. I have a bunny. His name is Quincy. I love to craft and I can sew.

Hi,
I have had the privilage of driving precious cargo for the district since the year 2000. I work as an IA and in the library at the elementary and am lucky to be able to go to work each day to work with the children and youth of our community. I am a wife and a biological mother of two wonderful children but feel blessed to be “the mother of many” over the years and a grandmother of one beautiful, energetic smart sponge of a girl.
